Radkikou was born as a toy I sculpted by hand for my son Tristian. 

​It brought me such a joy that it expanded into the creation of new characters,

inspired by my friends in New York and the valuable life lessons they gifted me.

At the time, Tristian and I would go on a daily walk to the sculpture garden

near our apartment in Brooklyn. As a sculptor, this place made me feel

at home and reminded me of my studies at Academy of Art in Prague.

These monumental sculptures become the setting for these beloved characters.

That was the moment Radkikou's story began to emerge.

Suddenly there was a Bambulinou, who can create a visionary travel bubble.

Editulinou, who teaches you how to travel with your mind.

Joselinou, who opens your heart.

Michelinou, who holds the power of time.

Lindulinou, who teaches you how to flow.

Fionulinou, who connects the generations.

Ruminulinou, who lives in the present moment.

And lastly Alexinou, who safely brings our explores back home.

From this idea of making a special toy for my son

arose a whole fantastical world that has taken even me by surprise. 

​

 In the telling of this tale, it is my hope to remind us that no matter our age or situation,

we are all on a journey of exploration.

Together, we discover that we always belong, wherever we may be.
